If I Tweeted, This is What I Would Tweet

I just counted six different types of oil in my cupboard (regular olive, extra virgin olive, canola, coconut, peanut, and sesame) and seven different types of vinegar (white, cider, balsamic, rice, red wine vinegar, white white vinegar, and raspberry flavored white wine vinegar).

I've purchased maybe three of those 13. I think that's indicative of something.

The New Face of 26

I had a birthday, shout Hooray! I'll share with you my special day. :)

May 4th started at midnight (other days don't usually start at midnight. just this one because it was my birthday). I was at my friends' house and they showed me this great birthday video. You don't have to watch the whole thing, but just picture me standing in front of the TV (they have a fancy tv that plays youtube videos) and cheering and responding to everything. It was hilarious and a great start to the day.

Once real morning rolled around, I went for an exciting birthday hike! It was so great. It was a water hike and I tried out my new water hiking shoes and I loved them. Good hike. Good birthday.

After the hike, I gave myself a nice birthday nap. Best gift ever. Sorry, no picture to show.

My roommates did a little decorating for my birthday. We're accidentally super vain and have huge pictures of ourselves in our house. That really came in handy for making sure everyone knew who this day was all about. Also, Aubrey Hepburn got honorable placement on the wall because it is also the day of her birth.

My roommate, Kandace, and I blew up huge balloons. Mine exploded in my face. That was the funniest and scariest and loudest moment of the birthday.

We invited lots of people over. It wasn't a party, per se, because I'm 26 now and parties are so 25 and younger. So it was more of a "I'll be home all night so you can come over if you want to" type gathering. It turned out great because just my closest friends came over, which turned out to be mostly guys and, more specifically, mostly guys that I had dated. Sorry fellas.

Birthday Cake Time!

I didn't get them all in one blow. 26 is a lot of candles. You all understand.

So there it is. I'm one year old and wiser too. This is the new face of 26.
