Allan Christmas Report

We had a great Christmas with the Allan family. And although Mark chose to stay in Utah with Marcie (*sniffle*), we had lots of fun and adventures.
We had our first, very own, real live Christmas tree! It was special. We put plastic things on the bottom for Frederick.

Edward was a shepherd in his Joy School production of the Nativity Story. This is him singing Jingle Bells between Lucy and Hyrum.
Frederick with his uncle Marc. Frederick made this face all the time. He doesn't smile as often when he's not at home. The only one he would smile for was Grandma Catherine.

This was Evan's festive Christmas Eve outfit. His mother said, "Reign is spelled wrong." And he said, "So is deer."
Edward and his cousin Gwen spent Christmas Eve wearing their new pajamas and reading scriptures. We snuck up and took pictures.
The best loved gift: Lighting McQueen! It was something I bought as an afterthought for $4 at the grocery store. The kid almost fell out of his pants when he saw it.

So. . .  Edward decided that wearing this many beads made him look super. People would say, "Wow Edward, nice necklaces!" and he would reply, "I'm Superman!" and put his hands on his hips like this. ??!??

There's that face again. Wow, he's adorable.

Reason #39 Why you should visit us in Virginia

We were thinking that every so often we would give you a reason why you should visit us.  Then you would be more likely to visit us.   He He!  Today's reason #39, focuses on a rec. center we recently visited one day by the name of Claude Moore Park.
The red barn part is where the swimming pool is.
They have a swimming pool, exercise area, and a rock wall! (No racquet ball courts to our Father's disappointment.) We had a great time there.
